Plus involving too many people would mean Sony might be able to get into the network and see how things go. Thus making protection for the next version of the PSP even stronger.

Putting a wrong ipl can render a V3 PSP unusable...
An error can mean a single PSP.... do we still remember how many "brick" we got from upgrading from 2.71OFW to 3.03 OE? and how an Unbricker like Undilited Platinum helped other Unbrickers.. without an unbricker devs and hackers are fronted by this dilemma.. remember we are not paying them single cent nor requesting from us a single dinero for "this" project...
So let us all wait.....if you can't wait ...go sell your PSP and buy some other console...so you can enjoy your "cheap" gaming pleasure!
